Schlumberger Joint Schedule

Common Questions & Answers about the
Schlumberger Joint Schedule

1. What does this insurance do?

A: It provides $50 deductible comprehensive and $200 deductible collision
coverage (not to exceed $28,000 per vehicle) on your Schlumberger company car
while it is in your personal use.

2. Who is covered?

A: The Certificate Holder and his or her spouse, if resident in the same household.

3. Are there any special exclusions?

A: Two-- The insurance does not apply:

(1) to any automobile owned in full or in part by the Certificate Holder/Named
Employee or a member of their household.

(2) while any automobile is being used in the business of Schlumberger
Technology Corporation. A loss occurring while driving to or from the
Certificate Holder/Named Employee’s usual office location will not be deemed business use.

4. What is the policy term?

A: The policy year runs April 30 to April 30. Each year in March, our claim
experience is evaluated and the premium for the coming year is determined. You
can be added to the policy at any time during the policy year. Likewise, you can
ask to be deleted at any time. Your premium is adjusted on a pro rata basis.

5. Who is the insurance carrier, and what is their financial rating?

A: This program is underwritten by Colony Insurance Company. Colony Insurance Company
has a Best’s rating of “A VII” (Excellent).

6. How do I purchase this coverage, and what does it cost?

A: Complete the enclosed enrollment form and mail it to Pathfinder/LL&D with a
check for the 2008-2009 premium of $136.91. To join the program in mid-term,
you may use the pro-rata table at the website to determine the correct premium
amount, or contact us at our main number 281-556-9999 or 1-800-211-0317 or Judy direct at 832-230-0638. You can also e-mail Gloria at jlund@pathfinderlld.com.

7. Can I get this coverage by just asking my insurance agent to endorse my
Personal auto policy?

A: No. Periodically, confusion arises over a liability endorsement sometimes called
“Extended Non-Owned Coverage for Named Individual.” This endorsement is
intended to provide a means for employees of self-insured government entities
(i.e. police departments, emergency medical services, etc.) to protect themselves
from third-party liability lawsuits in the event that they are sued in connection with
an accident involving a furnished vehicle. (Schlumberger, of course, carries
automobile liability insurance.) The key point is that this personal auto liability
endorsement excludes coverage for property damage to a vehicle which is furnished
for your use, so it will not pay for damages to your company car.
