publicly traded "spin-off" of the
CNA Insurance Companies. We utilize this company for contractor
bonding needs.
Fidelity & Deposit Company of Maryland
Best Rated "A XV", $158 million in assets, is a wholly owned subsidiary of
Zurich. Chartered in 1890, F & D was purchased by Zurich in 1996 (see below).
One of the largest bonding companies in the United States as well as a premier
provider of property and casualty coverage to the financial services industry.

United Fire Group (UFG)
United Fire Group (UFG) entered Texas with its purchase of American Indemnity in
